#DuncansDream – My pledge of £500

Yesterday I logged onto twitter and found a new keyword trending, #DuncansDream which is the brainchild of @DuncanBannatyne.

The idea is that if everyone of his 91,000 followers all followed each other through the trend then each follower would also have 91,000 followers.

I though i’d decide to write a few tweets on #DuncansDream and to my amazement within minutes i’d had 20 new followers, because of this i kind of became addicted to #DuncansDream and ditched Facebook for the day. As I started my day of tweeting on the keyword I decided that I thought I might make it worthwhile for people to follow me.

So today I decided that I would make a pledge! The pledge is that IF by midnight tonight I get 3000 followers then I will donate £500 to cancer research. Since my pledge it seems like the power and dream of #DuncansDream is now determined to make that happen. I currently now have 700 new followers since my pledge and as each minute goes by my inbox seems to pop up with on average 20 new alerts telling me im being followed via #DuncansDream

Monitor issues: AOC N20W Driver

I’ve had my monitor for one of my computers for the past year, unfortunately one of my computers needed a full reinstall. When I came to installing the monitor I found that I didnt actually have the right drivers so had a constant bluryness on the screen.

I went to the monitors manuafacturers AOC Europe website to try and find the correct drivers but couldnt and when I called they said they no longer support the monitor – which is a disgrace to start with!.

I searched all over the web for the correct driver for the AOC N20W to download but all i kept finding was crappy software to download that “may” find the right driver for $29.99 – so I paid the fee in hope that it would, and just as I suspected… it didnt!

Luckily i’ve now finally gained the correct download by badgering at AOC Europe.

Restaurant Recommendation: Cornucopia, Dublin

Today a friend who is a strict vegetarian/vegan from England visited me in Dublin. We decided to go to lunch but wasn’t sure were to go.

We came across a restaurant called ‘Cornucopia‘ based at 19 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2 – myself as a lover of meat was pretty skeptical that I might not like vegetarian based meals.

To my surprise I have to say that the food i had today was exquisite.

I would happily recommend anyone who visits Dublin to try Cornucopia out, you will not be disappointed
