Interview for new contract role.
Today I had an interview with a online company based in Dublin although I was told the interview went well I’m told that I won’t find out till next week whether I was successful or not.
The role is to project manage and lead a development team in Dublin for a 4 week period,.
I will update my blog as and when I get anymore news....
Bar Recommendation: Slide Club, Belfast
In my quest to seek out new venues i've come across a nice new gay/lesbian bar which seems to be tucked away out of site, the bar? Well its called 'Slide' and is based on Ann's Street, Belfast.
Its a persian styled venue with table service on one floor and on another a small but comfortably sized dance floor, considering this is like a well kept secret size here really isnt important.
The staff were extremly friendly and welcoming which is a plus point considering some of the other LGB venues in belfast tend to employ staff who dont exactly know how to smile.
For those who cant find it, its above Little Wings Pizzeria, on Anns Street Belfast.
At the moment I cant seem to find a web link for the bar/club but I'll update this post when I do.
Restaurant Recommendation: Little Wings Pizzeria, Belfast
Today I was taken to a little restaurant tucked away on Anns Street, Belfast, BT7 4EF called "Little Wings Pizzeria" which seems to have become a local gay and lesbian haunt to socialise.
Not only was the food incredible but so were the staff who made you feel extremly welcome and relaxed.
I will definately be recommending and frequenting Little Wings Pizzeria in the future.

Film Recommendation: The Descent 2
Last night I went to the Movie House Cinema on the Dublin Road, Belfast and saw the recently released movie "The Descent 2", I've got to say that this is one of the best movies i've seen this year yet.
This movie movie will have you on the edge of your seat, covering your eyes and wanting to jump out of your skin at times, Brilliant!

Restaurant Recommendation: Cornucopia, Dublin
Today a friend who is a strict vegetarian/vegan from England visited me in Dublin. We decided to go to lunch but wasn't sure were to go.
We came across a restaurant called 'Cornucopia' based at 19 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2 - myself as a lover of meat was pretty skeptical that I might not like vegetarian based meals.
To my surprise I have to say that the food i had today was exquisite.
I would happily recommend anyone who visits Dublin to try Cornucopia out, you will not be disappointed
